DECO (Designing Comfort) is an interdisciplinary research team inventing and improving new forms of interaction with computer systems. We are part of the Research Group for Industrial Software (INSO) at TU Wien.
Our general research interest is in the broad field of human-computer interaction and related disciplines:

- mobile interaction
- interaction devices and methods
Our objective is to improve the human-machine interface regarding extension of functionality, ease of use and development of novelties. We act on the maxim of user-centered thinking in both research and industrial projects. Our team members are experienced in a variety of backgrounds, resulting in the integration of diverse methods and operating on the principles of collaboration, innovative thinking, and sharing our strengths.
